Blinds & awnings for Eldoraigne.

One suburb over from Raslouw, on Centurion's older, large-stand side — made-to-measure blinds and shading for houses that have usually lived in a bit longer, plus the ones being extended and renovated right now.

An established suburb, still worth doing properly

Eldoraigne is one of Centurion's larger, longer-settled suburbs — big stands, mature gardens, and a mix of original houses and homes that have been extended, opened up or fully renovated over the years. That mix means we see everything from ageing timber venetians that need replacing to brand-new open-plan additions with big glass doors onto the garden.

Renovation work tends to change a room's light more than owners expect — knock through a wall, add a sliding door, and the sun exposure that suited the old venetian blinds no longer matches. We measure the room as it is now, not as the blind that's already there assumes it is.

What we're commonly asked to fit here

  • Roller blinds — replacing dated verticals or venetians in refreshed living areas.
  • Timber venetians — for owners keeping a more traditional look in older-style homes.
  • Folding-arm awnings — over patios extended during a renovation, with a wind sensor fitted as standard.
  • Motorised blinds — for new double-volume additions and stairwell glazing that a chain can't reach safely.

Not sure where to start? Our free Raslouw Light & Glass Field Guide walks through what the Highveld sun does to each elevation here, and which blind we'd fit on each — read it before you book.
